Whooa!!!
So, it's been a month now here in Grenoble!!!
So, a bit of looking back...
Time: It flew faster than ever before!!! Maybe since a lot of threads were running parallely in my head, I just couldn't keep pace with time!
French Keyboard: I still feel it's quite irritating, but have adapted a lot...Typing numerals on this keyboard freaks me out!
French Windows (7): Hmmmm, hard initially, but it helped me almost double my French vocabulary in a couple of days!
Food: Quite a lot has been sorted out now that I started cooking since last week! Pizzas, fruits and yogurt, fish(yup!) and sometimes vegetables (merely boiling and sprinkling some salt qualifies as been 'cooked' here) at the CROUS canteen, and coffee from the machine can carry me through the day...Eating a decent breakfast before leaving for the lab is something that I have been consistent with. Cooking (often with other Indians here at RHB) at night has made sure that I eat a stomach-full of Indian food at least once a day!
Language Problem: Continues to make life really miserable at times :) Hopefully, from this October, I'll join a course either at the Alliance Française of Grenoble or at Stendhal.
Work: Ok, the "real" thing...I need to pick up speed from tomorrow ! Sounds similar to the ending of my last post...can't help it right now!
Gym : Need to start something...I didn't even go for jogging. The amount of butter and cheese I end up eating every day needs to be taken care of!
Weather: I think the I arrived here at the awesome-weather-time at Grenoble....Mornings were cold enough to make you appreciate and enjoy the morning sun's golden rays, the days were warm enough to make you feel 'at home' and nights were comfortably cold, so that you don't need a fan.Things have started to change from this week, particulary today it feels like I have reached the place where the cold wind blows!
