Taare Zameen Par

If I were a film maker, this is something I'd have loved to create...Liked the movie a lot...Impacted me emotionally...touched my heart.

The portrayal of sensitivities was amazingly brilliant - successfully bringing to fore the subtle and faulty parental attitudes and their often 'hard-wired', 'non-negotiable' expectations from their children. For example, check out the dialogue between the kid's father and aamir khan at the boarding school where he tells "khayal rakhna kise kehte hain". I guess that dialogue had something that has probably never been touched upon by any other bollywood movie...A clear and sraight faced attack on the misguided perceptions of the parents and their inability to actually comprehend a kid's needs and his psyche.

There were a couple of excellent scores, and lyrics too.
Have been listening to this one in an infinite loop. A 'roobaroo' kinda song. Awesome sound. :)
