Discovered this wonderful voice a few days back. Was searching for the song "fields of gold' by Sting..Downloaded an mp3 , and to my surprise I found it to be a different version, in a female voice , and the it left me mesmerised...The file properties was showing "unknown artist" and "unknown album" (the guy who had ripped the cd hadn't cared to edit the file info)..Anyway, a couple of searches on google and I discovered this singer.She is no more though and it was sad to know she became faomous only after a few years after hear death in 1996 due to cancer.She sang many beautiful pieces(like "over the rainbow" and many more) in her short life time of 33 years. And I loved her guitar playing too.
